About This Spot

Stepping into The Landing’s Seafood, you’re greeted by the inviting hum of familiar conversations and the soft rhythm of laid-back tunes that seem to weave through the air as effortlessly as the Gulf breeze outside. This unpretentious spot carries the warmth of a well-loved local haunt—a place where families and longtime friends gather around communal tables to share more than just food, but moments that linger.

The atmosphere unfolds at its own easy pace, welcoming lively chatter and the occasional joyful clatter of plates and shells, hinting at the hands-on nature of the seafood experience here. Whether you're settling in with rambunctious kids or finding a relaxed nook to savor a meal, the mood gently encourages a casual, no-fuss approach to dining. It’s a place where the setting doesn’t demand polish, but welcomes authenticity and spirit instead.

The menu itself becomes part of the story—steaming boils fragrant with Cajun spices, baskets of fried shrimp golden and crisp, and local favorites like catfish that linger with a satisfying, homestyle flavor. The food invites you to roll up your sleeves, to engage with vibrant textures and bold tastes while savoring the ease of friendly service. Side dishes and classic Southern comforts round out the spread, grounding the meal in a tradition that’s both familiar and richly comforting.

Beyond the food, The Landing’s Seafood holds a particular kind of charm in its small, wholehearted space. It’s a place where the spirit of simple pleasures thrives: summer nights spent outdoors, the quietly joyful messiness of shared plates, and the kind of atmosphere that beckons you back whenever the craving for genuine local flavor and easy company arises.

Went there because growing up , we had fond memories of always coming to see family in Frankston and getting to all get together and eat at the "original" Coffee Landing..The atmosphere was great along with the music...all of the good we ordered was great except the crawfish...it was decent but not the best I've ever had but was happy with the fish shrimp corn on cob beans etc ..I brought the crawfish back home to Oklahoma with us and put it on to boil with with some Crawfish boil on it and it was better...maybe the cook was a lil quick to pull my batch off idk but they were super busy maybe was trying to keep up with demand..I give the place a High thumbs up

The overall experience was enjoyable. I wouldn't dress up in very nice clothes to eat here, but it was an ideal setting to bring the rambunctious kids. However, the menu wasn't very kid friendly due to the extra spiciness of the entire platterswe got. They dont offer you any trays or utinsels and expect you to use your own common sense for everything after checkout. Had to go back twice to get a tray and a meat cracker for the crab legs. Nobody else cared for the mushrooms In our party but we all stuffed ourselves and shared platters. The seafood must have been extra fresh cause I could feel them swimming in my stomach. We brought the leftovers home and unfortunately nobody wanted anymore after they hit the fridge. I'd visit again to just enjoy some delicious gator bites and hangout with friends and family.

Great spot for boiled or fried seafood! The crawfish are always flavorful, and the fried baskets are delicious. The shrimp tastes fresh and seasoned perfectly—definitely one of my favorites. I come here almost everytime I am in town.

My husband has been talking about this place forever. He used to eat at the old location. We finally ate there today. Excellent food and service. We shared the Saturday special Shrimp and more. Boiled shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn and mushrooms cajun style. Stop here, don't miss out!

This place has ruined catfish for me because I won’t be able to eat anywhere else and enjoy it as much as I did here. I have never eaten catfish as good as the one here. It is a small place with a huge heart. The sides are amazing as well. There is plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the summer nights!

Food was amazing, great prices! Good fun atmosphere with corn hole and a gated area for kids to play!

Large fish portions . Shrimp are small. But flavorful. For what we paid for a dinner $$$ I thought the portion sizes for the slaw and Fries were very small ( esp the Cole slaw.

Great outdoor restaurant! Seating is covered so you won't be exposed to the elements except for wind and temperature. Seafood items, chicken tenders, chicken fried steak, etc is on the menu. Alcoholic beverages are not served but I heard byob is allowed ... please confirm if it's important to you. The pic was taken after the fact. 2 sides come with the meal and hushpuppies are included. Beans for everyone! Live music is available on Saturday nights (6 - 9pm) for those of you interested. Thank you Jay (or is it J.?) Statham for your solo performance. Great music, great food and great company... can't get any better than that, my friends!
